2 tsp chili powder $0.20
2 tsp ground cumin $0.20
1 tsp smoked paprika $0.10
1 tsp garlic powder $0.10
1 tsp salt $0.03

Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until evenly mixed. Use immediately, or store in an air-tight container, away from heat and sunlight, until ready to use.

Notes

This blend can be used as a 1:1 replacement for a store-bought fajita seasoning packet. How you will use it depends on the recipe you're following. Some recipes will have you add the seasoning as it is, while others call for mixing it with water. As a general rule, use one batch of this mix for 1 lb. of protein, and if you'd like a saucier finish, add about ¼-⅓ cup water while cooking.
